Closing a period
Feeds in, stubs printed, a name on the cover. The calendar does not close the book.
Close is a human action. The template shows the checklist. It does not flip a month for you.
Checklist
- Every meter has a feed
- Late events are in or deferred
- Each stub recomputes
- Tax matches the book
- A named person approves
After close
The period is read-only. Corrections are new stubs in a later period, or a reopen with an audit note.
In this template
There is no live close. The UI is the specimen. Replace the copy. Keep the refusal.
